LAA provided
architectural design services to this
web and mobile app design
company. Previously located on a one
level office space at Winter Street,
thoughtbot had the opportunity to
move their offices to the top two levels
of the building which needed to
be fitted out to thoughtbot.
LAA in collaboration with the client
determined that the first level would
be an open floor work area. The
second level, although
compartmentalized, would be flexible
to allow flow within the new rooms for
training, meetings and socializing.

Storage, restrooms and main
circulation were located along the
buildings elevator and stairs core,
freeing up most of the 5,000 SF tenant-
space and all walls with windows to fit
the program.
